“And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him: and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. ”Ecclesiastes 4:12
A cord of three strands … is not easily broken
I believe that the home, the church and the school should be united as partners in the training of a child. They should believe the in the same things, value the same things, and teach the same things. Yet, many times parents are not supporting the church and the school. The public schools now are contradicting and undermining the training of both the parents and the church – and we wonder why we are losing our children
I believe there is strength in unity. Take the time to count the strands in your cord of love that you are using to bind you child to you and to Christ.
