The Best Thing!
The best thing you can ever do in this life, for yourself, your spouse, and your children, is to maintain a very close, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
When you stand as the head or heart of a home, looking at your spouse across the table and watching your children sleep at night, the weight of the world feels intensely real. In those quiet moments, you realize that worldly success, a comfortable bank account, or status cannot truly protect or sustain your family. The single greatest gift, anchor, and compass you can ever have as a spouse and parent is a deep, abiding relationship with Jesus Christ
Marriage
Marriage in a hostile, broken culture is under constant siege. Selfishness, exhaustion, and the pressures of the modern world constantly work to tear husbands and wives apart. Walking with Christ changes everything in a marriage. It teaches a husband to lay down his life for his wife through sacrificial, protective leadership, and it gives a wife the strength to nurture and honor that bond. When Christ is the center of your marriage, conflict is met with repentance and truth, not bitterness, and your covenant remains unbreakable even when trials come.
Parenting
As parents, our primary duty is to raise children who know who they are, whose they are, and how to stand firm in a culture determined to corrupt them. You cannot pass on what you do not possess. When your relationship with the Lord is real and active, your children see faith lived out in real time. They learn to pray by hearing you pray over them. They learn moral courage by watching you refuse to bow to the lies of this age.
When you anchor your household to Christ, you are not merely surviving day to day. You are building a strong, multigenerational legacy of faith, resilience, and righteousness that will outlast the decay around you and stand secure in eternity.
Invariably, when a couple comes to me with their marriage in crisis, I will at some point say these words: “The best thing you can do for your spouse, your children, and yourself is to have a very close, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Initiate or Stagnate?
Initiate or stagnate! I write this to every individual in a relationship today. Most of humanity is part of several associations. A relationship could be with a spouse, parent, sibling, child, or other family members. It could be with a friend, a work associate, or someone at church. In short, I write this to you.…
Building & Rebuilding Trust
As a young father of very young daughters, I would place them, one at a time, on our kitchen counter. When I was ready, I would tell them to jump, which they did and I would catch them. They would laugh and I would smile. It was a good time. As time progressed, I had…
