Healing Hurts

Healing Hurts (Part 2 of 2)

Most people would prefer a solution to their conflict, but since that requires ‘rocking the boat’ many learn to live with the conflict.

Historians tell us the ‘Cold War’ ended in the 1980s. However, within the walls of many Christian marriages today, there is a cold war brewing. It’s easy to stand on the sidelines and ‘throw rocks,’ make critical comments, pass judgment, and offer unsolicited advice. Interestingly, many that provide these services have similar stuff going on in their own lives.

May I speak to you in all sincerity and with humbleness of heart and mind? The cold war isn’t worth it. Humble yourself or yourselves and find someone to help you. There are several that can help and are trustworthy.

The sooner, the better. Please don’t wait till it’s too late, then wish you had reached out for help. It is hard for many to make that decision but well worth it.

Does the healing process hurt? Absolutely! I can attest to that! Recently I have witnessed the healing power of God at work on several occasions. It has been phenomenal!

Healing does not start at the end. It begins with the decision to initiate the process. Does it hurt? Absolutely. I wish it didn’t. My eyes are watering up as I remember some of the torment, struggle, and pain I have witnessed with many.

I am incredibly thankful for those who have been willing to embrace the process and not just feel the pain of healing but also experience the joy of being healed.

I have since seen the surgeon for my post-op consult. Again, she dug around, causing discomfort. Then she pulled some nasty stuff 4-5 inches long out of a particular cavity. I had sensed something was there but didn’t know what. I couldn’t put my finger on it. Now it was gone.

Something amazing happened. Fresh air flooded the cavity previously inhabited by the nastiness. I felt clean as forgotten sensations enveloped me.

The same thing can happen to you. Contact me today. Let the healing begin!

That’s Not Fair!

How many times have you heard, “That’s not fair?” How many times have you said or thought that something wasn’t fair? In my experience, the desire for fairness is not something relegated to just one age group. I’ve heard children, teenagers, young adults, middle-aged adults, and retired folks all proclaim how something in life is…

Don’t Fake It Till You Make It!

The first time I remember hearing the phrase, “Fake it till you make it,” was at a MLM meeting over 35 years ago. The ‘preacher’ was on the stage doing a good job of working the crowd. People were on their feet shouting and clapping. Many of the people were already following the guy’s advice,…
