DayStar Ministries
Since the inception of DayStar Ministries, I have been the sole clinical provider. During the past 15 years, I have been honored to help hundreds of individuals and couples move toward a place of healing. I have traveled to many churches, teaching seminars and preaching. Most people I have worked with have been virtual; a few have been in person while traveling.
Over the next couple of months, some changes will take place. I will be introducing two new clinicians coming on board to serve you. One of the questions I have had over the years is, “Do you have a female counselor?” I have always had to say no. However, that is changing. I am excited to say that we have two female counselors who are now a part of DayStar Ministries. I will be introducing them in future communications.
DayStar Ministries also now has a toll-free number: 844-4DayStar (844-432-9782). You can reach each of us using that number in the next few weeks.
Other changes will be implemented, allowing DayStar Ministries to serve individuals more effectively.
Apostolic Moral Purity
In its fourth year of operation, I am happy to announce the inception of support and recovery groups for females addicted to pornography or other sexual compulsions. This has been a long time coming. Darlene McLaughlin, MA, will be heading this up. The plan is to start these meetings toward the end of the first quarter. You may connect to our Facebook page for ongoing updates. You may watch her upcoming interview on Saturday, January 13, at 5:00 PM (Pacific) on our Facebook and YouTube channels.
By the end of the first quarter, Tom & Lana Lyman will be starting couples’ recovery group meetings. These will build on the individual recovery the husband and wife are working towards.
AMP is working to provide comprehensive help in the area of sexual addiction for Apostolic men, women, and the entire family. Apostolic Moral Purity is sponsoring its second annual Vanguard Conference in Austin, Texas, May 16-18. Bro. David Bernard will be speaking on Thursday evening. Friday and Saturday will contain sessions to help ministry teams address sexual addictions in the local church. Click here for more information.

It requires a commitment to transparency, regular self-examination, and a willingness to…
Embrace Your Pain!
What does it mean to embrace your pain? Most people are coming out of a painful situation, amid an unpleasant situation or going into a distressing situation. There are very few people that enjoy pain, but suffering is part of the human experience. Jesus promised us we would have trouble. So, the question is not…
Reversing The Ripple!
I remember, as a boy, how infatuated I would get by throwing a rock into a lake and watching the ripples appear one by one. At first, the only impact to the lake was where the rock landed. There was a splash causing great disruption. Then in quick succession ripples appeared. Each ripple impacted a…
